Dina Schlossberg wrote a commentary piece in the Legal Intelligencer to discuss the renewed focus on the shortage of affordable housing in the United States. She detailed the founding of RHLS and the expansion of its work in affordable housing over the years. The creation of more affordable housing is a critical need in Pennsylvania and across the nation.

Dina highlighted how badly we need more housing; Americans are now spending higher and higher percentages of their income on housing. She discussed the role of the Low Income Housing Tax Credit in the context of the new construction of affordable housing. Dina used two recent RHLS projects in Pittsburgh, New Granada Square and Flats on Forward, to outline how LIHTC development can revitalize a community by reimagining defunct spaces.
