On May 24, 2022, Grace Inspired Ministries (“GIM”)/ Lutheran Community at Telford cut the ribbon on Sellersville Senior Apartments, a 50-unit apartment building with 8 units dedicated as supportive housing.  The new building complements GIM’s two life plan communities, the Lutheran Community at Telford and The Community at Rockhill, and is an extension of already long roots that GIM established in the Sellersville area.

The new three-story property has forty-two 830-square-foot one-bedroom units and eight 1,040-square-foot two-bedroom units. It is built to the highest energy efficiency standards utilizing the Department of Energy Zero Energy Ready program.

Dan McKee, President and CEO of GIM, stated “Sellersville Senior Apartments will bring much needed affordable and supportive housing to an area with a growing cost of living and a very limited supply of high-quality, cost-effective, rental housing for seniors.”

GIM partnered with Leon N. Weiner and Associates to develop the new project.  McKee further stated that the GIM Board of Directors and company leadership have pledged to raise $350,000 to further support the Sellersville Senior Apartments venture.

RHLS Supervising Attorney Kim Dolan assisted GIM in closing on its financing, which included tax credits awarded by The Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency (PHFA), as well as financing from S&T Bank, Bucks County, the Bucks County Redevelopment Authority, and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh.

Located at 801 East Clymer Avenue, the community has several retail, dining and entertainment options within a 2-mile radius.
