Accessible Dreams Ribbon Cutting in Canonsburg, PA

RHLS was pleased to take part in our client, Accessible Dreams’, ribbon cutting on June 18th, 2012.  Accessible Dreams specializes in the development of barrier free homes for individuals with a disability that limits housing choice.  http://www.accessibledreams.org/  Accessible Dreams built their first home in Canonsburg, PA in Washington County.  RHLS attorneys Bridget Coyne and Bob Damewood played an integral role in the development of this house as well as helping Accessible Dreams become the organization it is today.

We also congratulate the Liadis family on the purchase of this new barrier free home.  All three members of the Liadis family have mobility issues and were forced to sell their home 20 years ago and move into an apartment.  Over the years their rent has gone up and up.  Their mortgage payment on this home is less than their monthly rent payment, making this a truly affordable home that fits their needs.  They are also happy to now be living in the same community with their grandchildren.
