Jack is a former RHLS Independence Foundation Fellow and staff attorney.  In 2017 Jack left to pursue a position at the Delaware State Housing Authority (DSHA) in the Development section on the administration of the Delaware’s LIHTC. Jack quickly moved into a new role as General Counsel of DSHA, a first for the agency!  In his role as general counsel Jack provided legal support and insights to all areas of DSHA’s operations and programs, coordinated DSHA’s outside counsel needs, and worked closely with DSHA leadership on new initiatives,  both internal and programmatic

Before joining DSHA and while at RHLS, Jack focused on supportive housing initiatives while representing nonprofit developers in LIHTC and other multifamily transactions with a focus on serving the needs of individuals experiencing street homelessness in Philadelphia.

Outside of the office, Jack enjoys Star Trek, reading, exploring with his daughter, and teaching and education. He serves as President of the Board of St. Michael’s School and Nursery where his daughter attends Pre-K, has taught a Justice Lawyering Seminar, and is currently teaching Real Estate Transactions with an emphasis on affordable housing at Delaware Law School.

Jack earned his J.D. from Drexel University and his B.A. from the University of Delaware where he majored in Philosophy and Sociology.
