The Philadelphia Weatherization & Conservation Committee (PWCC), which Regional Housing Legal Services helped to found, helped the Bethesda Project go green. The Bethesda Project recently received more than $115,000 in labor and energy efficient appliances from PECO to make its buildings better for the environment and free up more resources to provide charitable services.
Millions of dollars more will be available to provide similar energy efficiency upgrades over the next few years.
